The WS-700 Macaroni Rugged Duty Work String Tubing connection eliminates the need for expensive upsets. Upset connections can sometimes be cut back once. The WS-700 coupled wedge thread pin can be cut back numerous time. Replace the coupling, if necessary, and simply go to your local authorized, licensed threading facility to get needed connections re-threaded and repaired. Should the tube become too short for a Work String; use it as a pup joint or a crossover. The WS-700 combines a proprietary Wedge thread profile and a pin nose metal to metal flank seal for the ultimate in Work String performance. Wedge threads provide maximum torque resistance and repeatable make-up. Our coupled design affords superior tensile and bending strengths, dependable sealability and much less re-work expense.
