John has more than 50 years experience with piping products and is the inventor of several piping related innovations including a method to weld large diameter Duracorr tubulars. John has also been involved in the development of a state of the art, electronic gaging method and inclusive programming, which is bringing high technology quality methods unforeseen to the oilfield sector.

Jaycie has over 20 years experience in the field of financial management. Having been with the Gandy Companies for nearly 25 years, Jaycie has been involved in every aspect of its operations and development into the successful organization it is today. Jaycie has established a solid financial foundation for the organization and continues to oversee all phases of its financial stability.
Kris Church
Manager of Engineering
Kris has more than 40 years experience in the field of tubulars. He holds numerous patents for OCTG & drilling connections presently in use today. Kris also has an extensive back-round in Engineering, CNC machining and programming and the manufacturing of API and premium threaded connections. Kris is widely known and respected within the Oil Country Tubular industry and offers a wide range of skills rarely seen in today’s marketplace.

Melissa holds a Masters of Business Administration in Finance and a Bachelor of Science in Economics. She has over 20 years of experience across finance, auditing, manufacturing, operational, and sales / marketing functions with multi-national corporations.

Plennie holds a Master’s Degree in Business Management and is responsible for oversight of all project details.

Design Engineer
Fred holds a master’s degree in mechanical engineering, is a State of Texas registered Engineer and possesses over 40 years experience in the field of premium connection development. Fred has an extensive background in most phases of non-destructive testing and metallurgy. Fred has been responsible for the development and implementation of many new tubular connection products still in use today.
Matt Clatworthy
Design Technician
Matt holds a Bachelors of Science Degree in Industrial Design. He has 10 years of experience in the fields of Computer Aided Design and 3D Visualization. Matt has an extensive background in advanced surface modeling in Catia and Solidworks. He is also responsible for designing the corporate identity for TorqueLock including website development, brochures and presentations.
Kuo Leng, Ph.D
Design Engineer
Kuo holds a Masters in Mechanical Engineering, a Professional Engineer Certificate, and a Doctorate in Industrial Engineering. Dr. Leng specializes in premium thread design.
Luigi Licitra
Journeyman Machinist
Luigi is an on-staff machinist providing CNC and specialty machining skills to produce tight tolerance, high technology proto-types and finished products. He has more than 20 years experience in precision machining, specialty tool design, insert design and CNC programming. Luigi is also certified in Many phases of non-destructive testing and mechanical inspection, specializing in electronic gage development and programming.
Javier Perez
Outside Quality Control
Javier has numerous years of precision measurement experience, providing quality control inspection in all in-house quality operations and auditing of outside vendors both domestically and internationally. Javier is well versed in most aspects of metrology and has been instrumental in the creation of statistical databases inclusive in the research and development of new tubular products.
Don Prather
Design Technician
Don holds an Associate’s Degree in Computer Aided Drafting and Design. He has 10 years of experience in fields of Computer Aided Design and Drafting and 2 years experience in premium thread design.
